Matthew 25:35-40 (KJV)

35 For I was an hungred, and ye gave me meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me drink: I was a stranger, and ye took me in:

36 Naked, and ye clothed me: I was sick, and ye visited me: I was in prison, and ye came unto me.

37 Then shall the righteous answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungred, and fed thee? or thirsty, and gave thee drink?

38 When saw we thee a stranger, and took thee in? or naked, and clothed thee?

39 Or when saw we thee sick, or in prison, and came unto thee?

40 And the King shall answer and say unto them, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me.

Martha Ministry

This is a new face on an old ministry here at NTBC. Through the Martha Ministry we will show God’s Love by a single act of kindness.  Join us in this ministry opportunity as we provide food for new moms, those with extended illnesses, or for those who have lossed a loved one. We will create open doors to ministries of our church with no strings attached, just a simple act of love as Christ has loved each of us.

We have a bereavement committee that is led by Lavada Dishman and Fran Walker. These are the ladies that you need to contact in the loss of a family member.

We have a hospitality committee that is led by Donna Elliott and Blevenda Jones. These are the ladies you need to contact for the new moms or those who have been hospitalized.

If you love to cook and would like to serve in this ministry, just see one of the ladies above.

And Jesus said unto them, I am the bread of life: he that cometh to me shall never hunger; and he that believeth on me shall never thirst.
