A Place Just for you
NTBC Aftershock Youth Ministries exists to help teens deepen their relationship with Christ. We want to do this by providing opportunities for both worship and small group Bible Study. We desire to see teens grow in their faith while building relationships with other believers whose impact will last far beyond their Middle/High School years.
Our Aftershock Youth leadership team has a heart for these teens. We want to meet not only the spiritual needs of our teens but also physical, emotional, and day to day needs as well. Most of all, we want to provide a solid foundation of scriptural truths, support and Godly encouragement for our teens to stand on as they face the struggles and joys that the teen life brings. With the ever changing times we want our teens to have a place that they will always feel welcome.
We have our small group meetings on Wednesday nights at 7:00 pm in our teen lounge. We have several events throughout the year that allows the teens to become the hands and feet for Christ, in the Church and throughout the community. We have Youth Sundays throughout the year to allow the teens to step into the adult roles of the church, because when we have gone on our youth will be the ones who will take our place. What a great opportunity to serve the Lord in this capacity. We have fundraisers throughout the year as a way to raise funds for our teens. We use this money to take trips periodically throughout the year. Some trips we take are to Kings Dominion, to different Youth Conferences, Youth Camps, etc. On the holidays we have gatherings, go shopping and do other things that we always have a good time at.
Are you looking for a place to fit in? Well this is the place for you. We Welcome you! Aftershock Ministries is for teen’s ages 13-18 years old. If you are unable to drive or can not get a ride and want to come, just contact our church office at (434) 836-2802 and we will find a way for you to come. Remember, Parents it is our responsibility to bring our kids to the Lord. For those who are faithful to come, thank you for your faithfulness. Your decision to follow Christ and take a stand will be the best decision you will ever make in life. It may not be the easiest but it is the most rewarding. And always remember that the Lord Loves You for who you are and He wants you to come just as you are. We look forward to seeing you!
