Pastor Lee Von Eime
Get to know the Pastor
Our Pastor is G. Lee Von Eime, Jr. He was born in Danville, Va. April 14, 1955. His parents are Garnett and Laura Von Eime. He has lived in Danville his entire life. After high school he worked for Goodyear Tire & Rubber Co. for 18 1/2 years. His wife of thirty five years is Cheryl, and together they have three children Robie, Jennifer and Jordan and five grandsons, all residing in Danville, Va.
He was saved one Sunday night on March 20, 1988 at Grace Baptist Church 21 Morris Ave. Danville, Va. Two years later he was elected to serve as a Deacon, and in 1991 he answered the call of God on his life to preach the Gospel of Jesus Christ. In November 1993 he was called to our Church to serve as Pastor. For the first year he continued working at Goodyear, but as the church grew he knew that he would have to leave there and depend solely upon the Lord.
He attended Eden Baptist Institute under the direction of Dr. Daryl Law for seven years studying the Word of God. He also served as chaplin for two years at a local Nursing Home.
God has blessed both him and our church during his fifteen years as Pastor. By God's leadership, and Pastor Lee's willingness to follow, New Testament Baptist Church has grown from twenty four members in a store front setting to an ever expanding ministry with ministries reaching people in our community and around the world.
Pastor Lee lives and leads with this faith verse - "Call unto me, and I will answer thee, and shew thee great and mighty things, which thou knowest not." Jer.33:3
